Clearspring Organic Sushi Brown Rice is a short-grain Japanese style rice that is ideal for sushi. While it takes longer to cook than white sushi rice, this brown rice adds a wonderful nutty flavour to your dish making it well worth the wait. This rice is wonderfully versatile: use it as you would use risotto rice, make rice pudding or simply use it as a wholesome side to your dish. Organic wholegrain brown rice. Versatile pantry staple. Transfer to a saucepan with 2 cups/540ml of cold water. Leave to soak for a minimum of 60 minutes. Bring to the boil. Cover and lower the heat to simmer for 40 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and leave, covered, for 10 minutes.
